STORYTELLING AND CREATIVE DIRECTION FOR
IMPULSE EMPOWER
The "Empower" documentary traces the evolution of Impulse Empower, a brand emerging from the globally recognized Impulse Model's anti-trafficking efforts. By revitalizing peace silk weaving, it offers sustainable livelihoods to indigenous and displaced communities in eight Northeastern states of India, including Burmese refugees. The film showcases how cultural heritage and collective leadership intertwine to foster economic development and reduce the risks of unsafe migration. Grounded in the preservation of Indigenous craft, regenerative and circular production systems, and climate-resilient practices, the brand advances a holistic model of community led solutions.
Through our partnership, Opalus has supported with facilitating storytelling, creative direction of campaigns, and production of a documentary that brings this living ecosystem to life. Beyond the film, Opalus continues to support Impulse Empower through the strategic expansion of its initiatives and impact-driven projects, working together to scale circular systems, strengthen local economies, and advance regenerative futures.
CONSULTING ON AURORA'S SUSTAINABILITY PLAN
We worked with the city of Aurora, IL (the second-largest city in the state)
to finalize and release their latest Sustainability Plan which includes various innovative goals and initiatives for the city to implement between now through 2030. These goals cover the focus areas of:

WATER POLICY RESEARCH FOR THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMISSION
We assisted the CPUC commissioner in research to affect California Water Policy. We reviewed each state’s legislation on residential water use and
run-off, compiling a chart of each state's regulatory similarities and differences, and consulting on drafted water policy based on this research.
AQUAPONICS
We have teamed up with Emerge and Georgia Tech's Phi Gamma Delta and launched the first Aquaponics Project of its kind. Student teams get training in science and innovation while building aquaponics systems with Opalus Grow Lights. They work with Georgia Tech grads from Phi Gamma Delta fraternity to create their own enterprise, delivering systems and fresh vegetables to local chefs. This program works alongside community partners to give young students real-world experience in sustainable food production, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
